We signed contracts over 2 weeks ago and have a Closing Date of Monday next week.
We are in a chain , so our buyers will be moving as will the sellers of the house we are moving into. Just a couple of queries..
1. Should we ask the bank to issue our mortgage cheque on Friday as opposed to Monday so that there are no delays. The bank has said that the loan cheque gets issued to the solicitor?
2. Is there a time we have to be moved out by?
3. Whom do we get our keys for our new house from the Estate Agent or solicitor - If so when should we pick them up - On the day?
4. We are also due to go in to the solicitor on Friday in relation to selling our existing house - will the proceeds from the sale of the house be in place on Friday if that is the case?
