Most lenders need 3 or 4 days notice so if everything is in today/tomorrow there's no reason why the cheque shouldn't issue.

Tarquin, I had the same issue and in the end it took phone calls from our broker and solicitor to the bank to hurry things along. You can always ask your solicitor to arrange for the cheque to be couriered to them as well.

Don't be afraid to hassle them though - both are getting paid for working for you. I found that the more persistent I was, the quicker things got done. Funny that! :rolleyes:
