Hi everyone,

Just looking for any suggestions on cleaning a solid oak wooden floor. It has just gone down but want to make sure that I clean with something that will not have a long term effect. Also have new polished porcelain tiles. Theres a wax on them which has to be removed. our tiler tells us its very difficult and takes a lot of "elbow grease". We have special remover but anything ye could share in relation to that?

Cleaning the tiles I think a steam cleaner might be the solution.

Regarding cleaning the oak flooring, my wife uses a mop and a little bit of water.

I have seen some cleaners in my local hardware store for wooden floors, not sure what they do or how effective they are - but might be worth a look, specially if they are just laid, I know I'd want to keep it looking pristine for as long as possible.
