Claiming Tax Relief on Rent a Room Scheme?

I started to rent 2 rooms in a house in November 2010. I have to move out and i am looking at renting out a house as the rent is the pretty reasonable. Can i claim tax relief on the payments made to my current landlord from November 2010 under the rent a room scheme and can this be carried on for the new house i want to rent? In other words, am i entitled to rent relief for the new property i am renting given the changes in budget on December 7th 2010???
