Claiming tax rebates....top slicing, credits etc.

Just wondering if anyone would know when the best time would be to claim tax rebates. I took voluntary redundancy in March,so there is top slicing to claim, plus tax credits and USC. Would it be advisable to claim before the end of the tax year, or wait till the new tax year?

You can only claim after the end of the tax year.

Don't forget if you are on Jobseekers Benefit that is also taxable income and needs to be included in your return. You can get a statement of the taxable amount received from SW
