can anybody tell me please my mother who is 81 years of age and is originally from kilkenny southern ireland and is living in england since she was 16 years of age but had been working previous since she was 14 in ireland would she be entiltled to an irish pension i was told because she is orginally from ireland she would be entiltled to a non contributry pension.

I don't know the answer to this but I would hope that she would not be eligible, given that she is gone from this country for 65 years.
Does she not get a pension in the UK?

Your mother would not be entitled to a pension from Ireland. A non-contributory pension would only be paid if she were living here now.
The only way she would be entitled to a part Contributory pension from Ireland is if she had worked here after the age of 16. You cannot pay insurance before the age of 16, Sorry Browtal
