Claiming mortgage interest supplement

I am currently away travelling at the moment and plan to return to ireland soon. Judging by the way things are at home at present and the industry i work in it will proably take some time before I get a job. My apartment is currently rented out for the last 6 months at home (its not registered and im not paying tax. The rent received is less than the actual mortgage payment).

I plan to move back into my apt once I return, my question is will i be entitled to Mortgage interest supplement if I am also claiming the dole? My mortgage payment is currently 950 pm (its on interest only anyway). How much could I receive from the HSE?

I only need it until I get my feet back on the ground, maximum 3 months.
