My brother got some fillings done in a denist but since he didn't have the form stating he was entitled to a portion of it to be paid via his PRSI, he paid for everything on the day. Can you now claim some of this cost back?
I know he is not able to claim it back against his income tax, but can he claim some back against his PRSI. I have searched welfare.ie but can't seem to find a form.

no he cant. He must verify eligibilibity prior to having the treatment done. The onus is on the patient in this regard. Ring the social welfare on 1890400400 and they will confirm same.
Alternatively ask the dentist for a receipt of monies paid and ask social welfare for a refund....but....dont hold your breath.
