claim tax on dental

i need to get perodental treatment done costing 1500 euro, im on a 3 day week at the moment and not paying tax as my earnings are low,if i claim tax relief for the treatment how does it work? will i get a tax credit to use in this tax year if my earnings go back up and start paying tax again?

Each tax year stands on its own. So long as you earn enough during the year as a whole, you will get the relief. That gives you an extra reason to hope that your earnings go up.
