Claim Spouse tax credit

Hi there,

Wife not working and I claim her tax credits.

Is there a way for her to claim for medical since she can't claim on PRSI. She is not on social services due to my income.

She is partly on my private health but certain things are not covered such as optical.

Just wondering if there is any thing we don't know of and can persue to help her.

You can get tax relief on the medical expenses paid by you for anybody else.

So if you pay your wife's medical expenses, you can claim tax relief on them.
