Claim medical expenses, statement of liability

Hello, this is my first year entering my medical receipts online, I normally filled out the med 1 form. I did this on my account on ROS.ie .
Two days later got notification to say my statement of liability was done and I had underpaid by E171..
However my medical expenses is this separate to this and should I hear back on this during the week?.
I paid E2k last year and receipts were for E1375 ( got money back on my Irish life)

Sounds to me like, even after your medical expenses were claimed, you had underpaid by €171 when they balanced your "account". Message them if you're unclear.

Just an update on this , rang revenue yesterday as I had no reply to my mail to them. Seems like I had not entered the values of the receipts, I had just uploaded them.
Amended the form online and got my new P21 statement and they owe me E103 !

I submitted on behalf of a friend a week ago and still waiting for an update or reply.
