Wondering would anyone know can you place a chest freezer next to a washing machine (dryer on top of washing machine) in a small utility room - without a window. We have a small air vent. It was mentioned to me that the heat might affect the freezer?!

thanks

Ambient temperature in the room and the airflow around the freezer will be a factor in how efficiently it runs. A freezer in a cool breezy environment will use less electricity.

We have a small air vent.
A tumble dryer in a small utility room will definitely raise the temperature which in turn will make the condenser in the freezer work harder to maintain it's own temperature.
If the tumble dryer is a vented one then it really should be vented externally, even if it is a condenser type then I would leave the door wide open when using it, to help maintain a cool temperature within the room.
