Cheapest Place to buy marble fireplace?

Hi.
Am in the process of buying a builders finish house so will need to furnish it soon.
I have been looking around locally and marble fireplaces all seem to be fairly expensive. Does anyone have any experience of buying one of these at a reasonable price or know of any particular place that is good value for fireplaces?
I would be willing to travel anywhere in Ireland - North or South - if I could save some money in buying one.

Have you considered a reclaim yard or salvage yard?
There are a few all over Ireland and some specialise in fireplaces.

There is a marble fireplace for free in www.buyandsell.ie add reads no damage just needs a good clean.They show a picture and it looks good! My comp won't let me copy a link for you so just run a search. Hope its still there for you.
 
plenty of deals going around at present had you a budget and type of fireplace in mind?
