Cheaper Mortgage protection

Dose anyone know if there are any problems canceling an existing Mortgage protection life policy and opting for a new cheaper offer.

I took out a policy with Hibernian on 80K mortgage 6 years ago and they charge me 26 euro/month.

When I get a quote online for the sum remaining on my mortgage for 14 years I am offered a policy at 12 euro/mth.

This offers me a saving of 2352 over the remaing period of my mortgage.
Any comments welcome.
 
Shouldn't be as long as you keep your lender informed and time things so as to avoid any break in cover.
