cheaper internet access

hi,

has anyone an opinion as to the best (ie: cheapest) option for an internt access package.

Eircom 1892 number seems quite dear compared to the package options offered by others eg utv, pigsback,etc.

The problem is that i have switched phone company to euphony who don't have a internet package available.

What are my best options?

What's your usage like? Hours per week? Peak time vs off-peak?

I you can't justify [broken link removed] or broadband (e.g. [broken link removed]) then perhaps the elive non-subscription 1891 low cost dial-up number mentioned might help control costs (although I had little success with it myself).
