Changing mortgage payments from monthly to weekly

I currently pay my mortgage on the 14th day every month. I want to start paying by standing order once a week due to difficulty budgeting for the large payment every month. I have never missed a payment however just struggling to get the money together in one large sum.

Is this possible?, the bank is PTSB

I don't know, but you would probably pay more so reduce term if split over 28 days rather than a calendar month.
If they won't allow it though, you could set up a separate account that they money gets tranferred to everytime you are paid. You could use this for all bills and then just live off the money in your current account.
Only way to really find out is to ring PTSB.
