hi all,
I sold a property in the uk in 2007.If I pay cgt in Ireland,is there anything due to uk gov.? can i right off losses made on shares against it.thankyou

I am not an accountant but IMO the answers are -- Nothing due to UK Gov. Yes yoiu can utilise losses incurred in sharetrading if made in the same year or previous.

However from your post you are two years late so you might incur penalties.
