CGT Losses - how soon can I claim

hi,

I have today realised some personal CGT losses on a sale of equities.
I want to register/record these losses with Revenue using ROS as soon as possible.

When is the earliest I can do this ?

PS I say "claim" in headline in error, can't seem to change it to "register/record" .
 
There isn't a process as such for this. You can complete a Form CG1 if you wish, but seeing as the 2015 version of this form isn't available and presumably won't be until early next year, and as you haven't made a capital gain at all and don't have to complete it, its questionable whether its worth your while.

Just keep your own records in order and that should do the trick.
