Certificate of Compliance with Planning Permission and Building Regulations

We just received our €425, flimsy, structural survey. However, it does say we should obtain a Certificate of Compliance with Planning Permission and Building Regulations. This should be available from the supervising engineer.

Where do we find the supervising engineer? Is this a local authority officer?

who is the builder , its their engineer

new or secondhand house new = builder and old = vendor
