Hi
Got a quote fro installing a central heating system, just wondering if anyone has any comments on the price (expensive? Good value? etc). Am getting 3 or 4 more quotes just looking for guidelines.
House Detail
3 Bedrooms (upstairs)
Circa 1000 sq ft
No existing heating system
Gas connection already installed for cooker
Concrete floors on ground floor (need to be dug/chased)
System Requirements
Condensed Gas Boiler
Approx 8-10 rads with thermo valves
All respective pripework
Link to water heating system
Coppercraft dual core water cyclinder and pump
Quote I got was for €6K EX VAT to Supply and Install above. Radiators in each room and towel radiator in bathroom. This includes connecting to a new meter whcih Board Gais have to install.
He also quoted an extra €2K to supply and install the following
New Sink, Toilet, Shower and all respective fittings as well as tiling bathroom.
Total would be €8K EX VAT
I dont really have any ideas re prices so am wondering if this is good.
