Cavity Wall Insulation

Stupid question probably but is it possible to get beaded wall insulation pumped into my walls if there is already aeroboard insulation in cavity? I applied and was approved for grant to get beaded insulation but a neighbour told me that the houses are already insulated with this aeroboard (dont think thats the technical name for it!) and it couldnt be done.
