In relation to a standard cavity wall (4" inner leaf. 4" outer leaf & 4" cavity with 40 mm aeroboard insulation - I think) would it be better to insulate with pumper cavity wall insul or dryline with 25mm kingspan insulation?
The problem is that the window lintels were constructed of mass concrete and so there is no cavity over the windows thus making cavity wall insulation at this point of no value. The drylining could be done in stages and so no big outlay of funding any one time as labour (bar skimming) would be done by myself. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
