Does anyone know if the position around CAT debt forgiveness and has been determined. I understand that revenue issued an e-brief last year but can anyone confirm what are the bone fides which revenue refer to?
I have not seen it in a Revenue audit yet but I'm of the view that where the write down is for commercial reasons and does not form part of a scheme to avoid a charge to CAT that it is outside the scope of CAT.
