Hi,

My question is do I need a carbon monoxide alarm if my oil heating boiler is outdoors?

Im not using any other source of heating in the house

Thanks
Chris

Carbon Monoxide is released at the source where the fuel is being burned, if the fuel is burned in an out builing and the hot water is being pumped into the house, its safe.

But i stand to be corrected.

Have you an open fire in your sitting room? Anything that burns carbon based fuel can produce CO.
