Motor Car insurance - Provident or Travelers - any experiences?

I'm due to renew my car insurance. Currently I'm with Quinn Direct and I've gone on the web and did a few comparisons. I got back quotes from AA and 123.ie which are a good 250 Euro cheaper than the renewal rate from Quinn, so I'm quite likely to switch. These are with Provident or Travelers, neither of which I've ever heard before. Does anyone have any experiences with these companies?

I think that Travelers used to be St Paul Travellers, I was insured with them for a couple of years and had no problems - didn't have to make a claim during that time though!

travelers are ok. google them. they are a massive company. think they give all the benefits also. better than quinn anyway.

Both big broker only companies they are competing together each giving bigger comissions to brokers to try and get customers don't trust them go direct

I have my insurance with Provident thru AA, found AA very helpful and professional. WOuld give them 1st refusal upon renewal.
