Car getting louder

Hi,

I have a 97 vw Polo.
I had it serviced during the summer and everything was grand.
But ive noticed in the last few months that when im driving the car has gotten a good bit louder.
Would that have something to do with the exhaust? (maybe a hole in it)

Could be - if you open the door ( when stationary ) and give it a bit of a rev it should be fairly obvious if it's the exhaust. You might have to only replace a section of the exhaust so it shouldn't be too expensive .
