Capital Return reservation

I'm due a "Capital Return reservation" on Degiro from one of my investments (ACI). Can anyone confirm if that is a tax free event or is it taxable?

Is it Albertsons Companies you are invested in? (NYSE: ACI)

Is there an amount shown next to the 'Capital Return reservation'?

Does it correspond to the number of shares you hold x US$6.85 per share?

If so, it looks to be a special dividend and is taxable.

There is more info here assuming we're talking about the same stock:

Thank you for your response and correct it is NYSE:ACI.

The special dividend was due to be paid on Nov 7th but remains suspended under a temporary restraining order attained Nov. 3 by Washington State Attorney General. I guess it's now a waiting game until that is resolved.
