I just hear from the ICAI that I am not exempt for full CAP 1. I will have to sit the law exam.
I am so disappointed, it is the only subject I did not do in my degree as I was exempt from year 1 due to doing it in DIT years ago.
ICAI told me that there is a cap of 10 years on exemptions and it is now 11 yrs since I sat law in DIT. Oh well…
Anyway, if anyone out there can point me in the right direction regarding this exam it would be much appreciated.
Has anyone out there done it before? What was it like, is it really hard? I am starting a Masters as well so I will have to study for this and the Masters so am starting to get concerned about it.
