Cannot dial 1800 -- from my mobile?

I am trying to ring a technical support number for netgear which begins with 1800.

However - it seems this cannot be dialled from my mobile phone.
I assume landlines are fine.

Is there any way around this?

Any prefix you must enter or anything from a mobile?

A lot of companies will block 1800 access from mobile phones as the costs are prohibitive. You can blame meteor/voda/o2 etc for that. Initially the charges were the same as landline access but now it can cost anthing up to 45c/min for the company providing the number.
