Can you use PAYE anytime to declare rental income?

Hi

As title says, anyone know if you can declare rental income using PAYE anytime? I can't find how to do it.

Apparently not. Revenue told me I had to submit a form 12 instead but a friend/tax advisor signed me up for ROS and I did it that way.
 
Ok, thats interesting. I wonder can you be registered for PAYE Anytime and ROS.
