Can you transfer a PRSA to superannuation scheme?

I currently have a PRSA with the bank of ireland and am being charged 5% im thinking of transferring it to my superannuation scheme is this possible?
If so is it a good idea or should i just transfer it to another PRSA scheme with less charges
 
When you say superannuation scheme, do you mean a public sector superannuation scheme? Are you a public servant? If so, the first thing you need to find out is whether or not you will be permitted to buy back years in the syuperannuation scheme and if so, can you transfer the value of your PRSA into the scheme to do so.

Also, if you are indeed a member of a superannuation scheme and have no other source of pensionable income apart from your public service salary, your PRSA should be designated a PRSA AVC.
