Can you just walk in to auctions

i was just wondering if can just walk into an auction or do you have to organise with the property company that you can come in to bid.

just wanted to go to an auction today in galway and see what it is like
 
Its public - anyone can go in. Just don't be the successful final bidder without having organised planning search, finance and title investigation.

Of course - in many auctions though you cannot bid without displaying evidence that you have finance available. You may be asked to register on the way in the door.
 
where you have a bidding paddle you will probably have to fill out a form but you can just walk in to most auctions
 
No but even in an auction without bidding paddles or ID numbers you may be asked to prove that you have the finances in place to complete any purchase that could take place.
I'm aware of at least on EA office where this takes place.
 
You should go. The worst thing that can happen is that you are asked to leave.
