Hi,
My Father has being paying into a private pension scheme for nearly 30 years, to cut a long story short he never claimed tax relief for any of those 30 years. He was self employed for 13-14 of those years and a Paye worker for the balance. Can he claim tax relief for any previous years pension contributions? We (the family) have been at him for ages about his pension as he nears 65, hence this has only come to light.
