Can washing machine be repaired???

Hi all,

This is my first real post so far as I need advice. The situation is this, the drum of my washing machine has somehow come away from the rubber and the spring that holds it in place. This happened during a spin. Now it's not the newest of machines, in fact it was supplied by the landlord when we moved in, but up to now have had no problems with it. I just need to know if this can be repaired or do we need a new one?

Take the back off the m/c, having first detached from power point, and have a look.

You should be able to see what goes where and it is a relatively easy process to replace these things.
