I have a set of swings in the garden which the kids adore. They are in quite good condition except for the bracket that holds on the see-saw bit. It has corroded quite badly. I am wondering if I can get a replacement part instead of buying a whole new set of swings?
Does anyone know if and where these are available?
It might be best to ask the people where the swing was bought.
I have a vague recollection that used to do this type of stuff but that is a long time ago. Roches Stores were great for getting stuff like this but unfortunately they have long gone.
Perhaps the needed part can be cheaply manufactured in a workshop ? There are plenty of ironworks companies who make railings, fences and gates etc out of metal. They could probably make a bracket realy easily if you explained its dimensions.
