No one has been able to clarify the situation of whether of not a self employed individual claim claim the civil service rates for mileage and subsistence.
My understanding is that self employed cannot claim the civil service rates but can claim their actual expenses incurred insofar as these expenses are incurred in the course of their employment duties?
Am I correct in saying this?
