Motor Can I transfer my NCB to Northern Ireland?

Hi all,

I intend moving permanently to Northern Ireland later this year or early 2011. I have been with FBD for the last number of years and I have my full NCB, claims free since I started driving in 10 years ago and no points etc. Thing is, if I move to N. Ireland does anybody know if those insurance companies up there will take my NCB into account? I drive what's considered a high performance car, equivalent to Group 19 insurance in the UK.I don't think I could reasonably insure it if I had to start my NCB again.

I moved down to Dublin from the north in 2004 and they allowed me to take my NCB. My insurance company had to write a letter stated i had full NCB
