Can I let my dole sit for a week ?

I've gone home to vote and couldn't collect my dole from PO yesterday ( PO closes for 1/2 day )

Can I let it sit until next week or will I have to collect within certain period ?

After three days it lapses and you must contact the dole office to have it re issued, could take a couple of weeks.

Your payment should be available until Tuesday next at the latest.

Jobseeker and Supplementary Welfare Payments paid by Postdraft (swipe card) in the Post Office are held for a minimum of 4 days and a maximum of 8 depending on what day you're normally paid.

Uncollected payments are returned by An Post to the Dept of Social & Family Affairs on Tuesday nights.
