Can I get widow's pension?

We were married for 11 years. I remarried about 3 years later. Was divorced about 1 1/2 years after being marrried.( He decided he didn't care for kids too much) (Was separated most of it) My 1st husband died in 1985 was in the service for 3 years. Then he worked after that till he passed away. I am guessing he worked for around 14-15 years before he passed at age 32. I will be 59 in November. Am I able to recieve widows pension when I turn 60? And if so do I need to apply before I am 60?
