Can I claim from both HSF and Laya? I have paid €150.00 on a GP visit which on my HSF plan I can claim €32.00 and my Laya plan is 50% = €75.00, can I claim from both?
 
Expect you can / subject to individual scheme limits. They are different companies.

You can only claim tax relief - Med expenses - on the net amount not refunded.
 
Just be aware - €150 seems very high for a GP visit. You might find that LAYA will cap the refund amount based on the customary charge for a GP visit so will refund you based on that lower figure.
 
I had a claim reduced by LAYA to reflect a customary charge for a service. 150 is definitely over the odds for a GP.
 
You should claim from your Hospital Saturday Fund first, then when submitting to Laya, you should provide a copy of your HSF statement. You are eligible to claim the difference.

The principle of indemnity kicks in to prevent making a profit out of insurance.
