Camcorder - Hard Disk Model - Editing Footage

I'm looking at buying a Hard Disk Model Camcorder. From reading up on it, the drawback seems to be the editing of any footage. I've never owned one but do a lot of photography & without photoshop would be lost on the editing of photos. I'd see this as a big drawback. Is it really that difficult? What software does the job?

WombleMPEGWizard edits video but i think you'd need to put it onto a pc harddrive first. I assume that can be done with this camera?

I'm looking at the . As long as it's easy enough to edit footage, I'm happy enough.

It's about pixmania, i don't know if any good to you because i havn't bought from the before, but you may want to know.

Cheers - I've no probs with Pixmania - customer support wasn't fantastic but when my camera broke within its warranty, they did get it fixed up.
