Has anyone went abroad to buy tiles or sanitary ware and stuff like that.

Is it true that places like spain can save you a lot of money on this sort of stuff??

Is the quality the same?

I bought all of my sanitaryware from Reuter-badshop.com, delivered last Thursday. Service was excellent and 4 week delivery time for 5 ensuites. I estimate that I saved 30%+ on buying from them.

Sorry for butting in but just wondering Kerryman were they ordered on line. Also has anyone got ensuites, doors, stoves, solar panels up North? Where were the best bargains and were they much cheaper?

Yes they were ordered online, but we viewed the products in Irish stores, saw what we liked and used the product codes/id's to find the product on the Reuter web site.

I bought tiles in nationwide tiles (currently have a 50% sale)

bought all sanatry ware in Balmar in Ballymount, all sanitary ware at trade prices and theyre open saturday mornings. saved a fortune
