Hi
I have roughly €500 , that i can offer to lose but obviously do not want to and am interested in taking a punt buying some irish bank shares .e.g AIB to be exact. i was planning to do it this time last yr when shares crashed but chickened out / got lazy and they rose from under €1 to above €3.... there now back at €1.50(ish) and i just have feeling history is repeating itself.......
As an AIB online customer, i looked up there share dealing facility and all i cansee is charges and levys for dealing and account mantaince.....Now due to the small amount i am playing on buying share swith , am i (a) wasting my time cos chages etc.. will just eat up high % of any money i make( thats if shares rise of course) or is there a cheaper way i can go about this.
This is first time i am tipping toe into shares and hope some one can advise me......even with my small sum i plan of innvesting with
