Buying Second Property- Letter Needed

Hi,

I am buying new property and plan to rent out my existing property. I approached bank for loan and bank is looking for a letter from auctioneer to confirm proposed rental income for existing property. Has any body obtained letter like this? How do I get it? Is there any way fee, I need to pay to get this letter?
Please advise.

Do a search on daft for similar properties and you'll get a good estimate of likely rent. As regards a letter from EA - ask and see what sort of response you get...
 
Maybe the Estate Agent from whom you are purchasing the house might give you a letter stating the rent achievable for your existing house as a gesture of goodwill.
