i am thinking of buying a second investment property in dublin.my main res is worth 700k and the investment property is valued at 325k. i have an outstanding mortgage on my main res of 240k which was the amount of equity i released to buy the investment property,this property is mortgage free.what i want to know is what is the best way of raising a mortgage to buy a second investment property. do i release further equity in my main res or do i use the investment property as equity to raise the mortgage, and do i go down the road of the interest only mortgage or varible
