Looking to buy 7.5 litres of farrow and ball paint. Heard its a lot cheaper up the north. Can anybody recommend where to buy it up north? Is there a shop in newry that sells it? thanks

Hi Wigwam,
I was just in Homebase in Dublin buying F&B testers at €7 a pop. 2.5l of Estate Emulsion is €46. On the UK Homebase website, the same paint is £25.49 and a tester pot is £3.50. That's an absolute disgrace.
I'll definitely be travelling to buy my paint at that price diference. I don't know if there's a Homebase in Newry, I couldn't find one on the website, the nearest is about 30miles from Newry in Craigavon or else there's one in Balfast on Boucher Road.

There's a huge [broken link removed].

I don't know if they sell that particular paint, but I checked prices of Dulux paint in Homebase and B & Q in Craigavon and Homebase was about £3 - £4 dearer per 2.5ltr tin than B & Q.

Farrow and Ball have brought down their Irish prices about eight / ten months ago..

2.5 liters oil eggshell is UK 38 pounds and 55 Euros, so there is a bit of a difference... it used to be 65 Euros in Ireland.

Not sure if it's worth going up North.... you can check stockists on their website, http://www.farrow-ball.com
