Buying in Cork - Carrigaline Area

I don't remember anyone pointing out to Jildy that Carrigaline has the worst traffic problems in Cork at present. The traffic into the village (is it a town now?) during 5pm rush hour has to be seen to be believed.

Have the facilities in Carrigaline increased with the vast numbers of people that has moved in there? Have extra schools been built, extra pubs opened up, extra restuarants, extra buses.

As regards commuting to Douglas, Wilton or Bishopstown, you'd probably get there as quickly from the East Cork area.

Yes it does have traffic problems but there is no need to go through the village to get to top of the village. There is a new relief road on the crosshaven road and there is an old country road on the ballea road.
I wouldn't dare drive through that village in the evening or on a Saturday!
