buying house through auctioneer from reciever acting for nama

hello just wondering if anyone has successfully done this.I am trying at the moment,offer has been accepted ,contracts have been sent to my solicitor.NO planning docs so got my engineer to check ,planning in compliance xcept for a few minor details THE PROBLEM seems to be with getting a clean title because of the lack of info from recievers which leads to not been able to get a certified and qualified title which my mortgage provider requires Any info out there, 4 months into this so do not want to walk away.I think good marketable title is the term that is been past about

You buy from a receiver at your risk-they offer no guarantee and are unlikely to help you with information to close the sale.
I am aware of a receiver selling properties on behalf of NAMA, also via an auctioneer, where they are on notice of building defects, breaches of planning and some fire issues, but, they are not telling potential buyers about these. Any system that allows this is wrong. Be very careful-and be prepared to walk away!

Hi Patriot 1, i know how you feel, at least you have contracts issued, and you are only 4 months in, myself and my wife on the other hand are awaiting contracts to be issued and are waiting nearly 12 months now,
similar circumstances with titles i think, no one can tell us what the hold up is now at this stage,
i dont understand how after 12 months and with buyers waiting in the wings and deposits paid, there can be delays of this length. We keep getting the same story from the Auctioneer....just a few more weeks now.......like you we do not want to loose this dream home.........if anyone can shed any light???
