Buying EFTs or USA Mutual Funds

hi long time reader/lurker newish poster!
Anyway I have the key posts and several others. Done my research.
I would like to buy some EFTs or Mutual funds (USA based don't mind the dollar cost) but I am not a US citizen and don;t have a SSN so I am having difficulty finding any where I can do this.

I do believe it is possible. Can anyone recommened any brokers or where to start?

Try https://us.etrade.com/e/t/home. There is more mentioned in the keyposts there for non-irish stock brokers but I cannot find. Maybe do a searc and see whish is the best value for you.

Don't think you need a SSN as you would fill in this form W-8BEN Certificate of Foreign Status before hand. But I have not done this yet so best of luck...
