Buying a property in Donegal but it has an 'indigenous' clause: Any experience?

Hi all

I am interested in buying a property in Donegal but it has an 'indigenous' clause - supposed to be for someone from the local area - I'm not from the local area.

Does anyone have any experience of this?

Also, would anyone happen to know of a good conveyancing solicitor in the Donegal town / Ballyshannon area?

Thanks

Not too sure how strict the Donegal Local Authority are regarding this.
In Cork, there are very few ways of getting around this -

a. buy an existing house or a derelict house which is in sufficiently good condition to be regarded as a house (which varies depending on the Planner).

b. marry someone from the area.

That's about it.
